The 2025's Japanese F-1 has just ended. if I followed the timetable given by F-1 Official Website of "0200", I would have MISSED most of the Race. Somehow, I decided to take a peek at 0030, & the Race Reporters were doing the pre-race interviews & the Event at 0100!
Anyway, I did not miss the Race which was won by Max who led from start to finish who fully deserved it. The Race was a procession without much wheel-to-wheel racing, pit stop or tire strategies. The Race started & ended as per the starting grid:
Max, Norris, Piastri, LeClerc, Russell, Antonelli.
The only highpoint which worth mentioning is that Kimi Antonelli, a rookie, did very well. He also set the fastest lap time for several laps. He has the potential of becoming the next Driver Championship Winner, may be in 3 years.
The other rookie to look out for will be Hadjar, who crashed during the first lap of 2025's first & rainy race. He was in tears then, fearing that his F-1 career would be over. In this race, he held his position until taken over by Hamilton (nothing to be ashamed of) but maintained it until the end. Hadjar also did well in China, unfortunately he is with Team Williams, but Kimi is with MB.
If the current trend continues, for sure, McLaren with Norris & Piastri behind the wheels, will win the Constructors' Championship.
Drivers' Championship is still a toss up.
Hamilton will have ZERO chance of winning another Drivers' Championship in 2025, and he will be another year older going into 2026.
That's it folks! |
