This coming weekend is 2025's Chinese F-1 GP i Shanghai.

Let's hope that we could see a truly wheel-to-wheel duel for the championship!

The 2025 F-1 stop in Shanghai, China uses a different format than Australia.

There was a Practice Session - already completed.
A Qualifying Session for a Sprint Race which must be going on now.
A Sprint Race tomorrow.
Then a Qualifying Session for the Main Event.
And finally, the Main Event.

Anyway, a busy week-end!

Hamilton qualified ist for the Sprint Race, Max 2nd, Piastri 3rd.

The above is only an indication of what the Team can do, at lest Hamilton/Ferrari is now on the right track!

The Spirnt Race will be held tomorrow.

Just checked F-1's website.  The Sprint Race will start in 1 hr & 10'!!!

The Sprint Race of 2025's Chinese F-1 GP has just ended with the following results:

Hamilton, Piastri, Max.

The stating grids are:

Piastri,      Russell
Norris,      Max
Hamilton,  LeClerc

What happened to Hamilton's Sprint Race speed?  Well, Ferrari wanted to fine tune the car to make it even faster, they got just the opposite.  There is a saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"  How true!

The 2025 Chinese F-1 GP has just ended with the following results:

Piastri, Norris
Russell, Max
LeClerc, Hamilton

My observation:
1.  Piastri led from start to finish. IMHO, Piastri is a slightly better driver than Norris, but need to gain more experience, then he will and can consistently perform better than Norris.
I think McLaren is on track to be contender of Constructors' Championship.
2.  Russel came in 3rd.  However, his team-mate Kimi Antonelli is more impressive as a rookie.  Watch this Kimi, he could out-shine Russell by the end of 2025!
3.  Something is not quite right with Ferrari.  Technician must solve some mysteries to put the cars consistently at the same pace as the fore-runners.

Both Hamilton & LeClerc have been disqualified after the Race for having "skid block thinner than 9 mm", i.e. both drivers and the Team will get ZERO points!
