In another 6 weeks, 2025's F-1 Season will start in Australia.

2025 should be more exciting than 2024 due to old drivers leaving, & 5 new ones coming in + re-shuffling of drivers & teams.

My forecasts will be as follows & let's compare with the actual result by year end:

CONSTRUCTORS CHAMPIONSHIP

Ferrari should be the hot favourite due to Hamilton & LeClerc.  Following close behind will be McLaren with Norris & Piastri.

DRIVERS CHAMPIONSHIP

I will place my bets on 4 drivers, Hamilton, Piastri, and LeClerc/Norris.  
If Ferrari's newly developed cars are as good as anticipated, Hamilton will have a chance to re-set his records of highest # of wins & Individual Titles.  If the Ferrari is about the same as 2024, Hamilton will extend his lead for the most wins, but not necessarily the Individual Championsip.

Please note that I am not placing my bet on MB or Red Bull, because both teams have only one good driver, Russel of MB is not as good as Hamilton, while Max of RB will receive A LOT of penalties due to un-sportsmanly on track behaviour.

Will post some more when we get closer to mid-MAR.

I am wondering how does Ferrari balance Hamilton and LeClerc in development stage. Their driving style is different.

Easy:

1.  Hamilton is LeClerc's idol when he was young, so naturally LeClerc will give room to Hamilton to show his cards.
2.  In my opinion, LeClerc is not quite in Hamilton's league.  If given the same car,  Hamilton will & can impress the Team MGR.  By mid-point thru the season, Team MGR will give LeClerc the message & Team orders must be obeyed.
3.  LeClerc for sure should know that Hamilton is close to retirement or should have guessed that Hamilton's service with Ferrari is no more than 3 years (my guess is 2!).  For sure, Hamilton will also treat his service with Ferrari as his last stop in F-1 & will teach/show LeClerc all his tricks/secrets.

Hamilton prefer oversteering car, and LeClerc prefer understeering. Therefore I am so curious, what will Ferrari gonna do?

As far as I know, all cars, regardless of whether for racing or for daily drive, can be "tuned" to react to the driver's individual preference.
