Current Canadian policies on energy and the massive green subsidies are stifling economic growth and real (non-government) investment. Just look at the emissions cap, which is actually a cap on the energy industry, which brings tens of billions of dollars of tax revenue. They're driving investment away from it.
The Canadian economy will continue to fall relative to the US economy until something changes.
