This above video shows Max's confidence of the RB car! I believe it would be another boring year until FIA & competitive teams figure out why RB can be so dominating, IF there is no cheating!
I am not that confident about RB can be more technically advanced than both Ferrari & MB who have been involved with motor racing for 3/4 of a century, plus having spent millions of $ on engine & chassis development.
In 2023, RB was on average 0.5"/lap faster than its closest competitor. In 2024, this could even widen to 1"/lap. We will find this out very quickly when the season starts in a week.
The 1st Race (I cannot even call it a race) of 2024 Season has just finished.
Max, Perez, Sainz, LeClerc (had some kind of brake or set up issue)
For the first 5 laps, Max was 1+" faster than the closest rival, when he discovered that RB was that much faster, he just treated the "race" as a Sunday morning joy ride.
F-1 will lose its popularity & appeal it RB is allowed to do whatever it pleases!
