FQ Sessions of 2022's Hungarian F-1 GP has just finished.

And surprise, surprise, surprise .................. Russell secured his first maiden pole position, to be followed by Sainz, then LeClerc.

2022 is the year of the young guns!

Tomorrow's start will be interesting!

The 2022's Hungarian F-1 GP has ended.

It was a tightly fought race with some surprising results:

1.  Max won.  The surprise was RB did not have any mechanical failures, & Max fought his way from 10th (?) to first.
2.  Hamilton came in 2nd.  Very good drive + tire strategy.
3.  Russel was 3rd.  Disappointed because he didn't get his maiden F-1 win, but he tried with a slower car.
4.  The big loser was Team Ferrari!  Although there was no mechanical or driver problem, the Team had nothing to show.  :-(

Have you guys noticed Max's illegal move (around 3' 30") of the video when he exited the pit to squeeze past LeClerc?  He passed the white exit line to squueze LeClerc.  The white line was there to prohibit drivers from doing this!   The driver exiting the pit MUST give way to driver on the track until the white line disappears.

Max should be given a 5" penalty which might affect the result of the race because Hamilton lost by less than 5"!

Who would be a better Chief Race Steward?  Yurs truly!

The first race after the summer break is 2022's Belgium F-1 GP, & it will be held this coming Sunday.

Tomorrow (SAT) is the Qualifying Session to decide the grid position of SUN's race.  Stay tuned!

Qualifying sessions of 2022's Belgium F-1 GP has finished.  Grid position is not the result of the qualifying times because:

1.   Max, qualifying fastest but took a penalty, so was LeClerc.
2.   So, Sainz, Perez, & so on & so on.
3.   MB improvement prior to the summer break went up in smoke.  Both cars were too slow.  Without the penalties, they were 7th & 8th; with penalties in "1", both MB driver moved up - nothing to be proud of.  MB is in big trouble in 2022!
