Yes. Winter tire is very useful. It grips the ground alot better than the all seasons tires.

4年里用到一次也值回票价了
兄弟的大奔随便坏一点儿，修起来都不止这个价了

温哥华感觉没啥必要配雪胎啊一年也就1个月下雪那个月你有雪胎也没用因为其他人都没有雪胎

还不如打车出门安全

you can go half way. get all weather tires. not as good as winter tires but you get decent traction in the snow. the only drawback about all weather tires is they consume more fuels. I use all weather tires the entire year.

short answer, winter tire is design for super grip during subzero temp. if you have share where do you plan to go during winter? that will help us to answer in better format
