I've been sleeping 4-5 hours per night for as long as i remember...
always sleeping between 10-12 pm and wake up between 3-4 am
before sleeping, meditation, prana breathing for 30 min.
after wake up, yoga stretching 30 min and i go to gym or if summer with nice weather...mountain biking or road ride for 2 hours.
I've kept this routine for many years, breaking the sleeping schedule once a while if there is something else to do.
i'm in good shape, no black eyes... socially/rarely consuming coffee, mostly afternoon...
the best thing to wake up is exercise...
a good schedule and balance with exercise... and good sleep
even if you sleep 8-10 hours...if it's not a good sleep you will feel tired...
