From my understanding, the thing is (I am talking about the girls at reputable agencies) a lot of the girls are on student visas. Immigration can and probably will deport them and put their name on blacklist for traveling in the future.
For those that don't understand what visas are, they are permits a country give to a person that allow the person to stay in the country for a period, but this person must follow special rules. Being in this business is basically a big no no.
Also a lot of the girls aren't even enrolled at a school, so those ones are probably the first to get deported.
Then there may be a few that are enrolled at schools. This will depend on how lenient immigration judge will want to be. A tiny little bit of hope.
There will probably be an exodus of girls as they are scared of further punishment (most-likely monetary penalty), on top of deportation. Most will have the 'run while you can' mindset. |
