Long term interest rate was always near 6-8% before the fiat currency system happened some 40 years ago.

Since the current fiat system will "reset" as those in power keep promoting, we will see the 6-8% again maybe in 10-15 years.

Yes in a healthy economy 6-8% is optimum interest rate.  But, given how bail out and free money is becoming a norm, economics is changing dramtically.

That's why the "reset" part is coming. I will not be surprised we get food ration and gas ration in a few months.

Of course, black market will thrive in such time.
