a few of my friends are getting cash ready to buy around end of year/early next year thinking they will grab some great deals for rental/multiplex. I'm kind of skeptical, I think big trend reverses don't just happen for a few quarters, they likely happen for a few years at least. I remember in the late 80 to early 90s condos were being bought/sold for 80-100k, and my parents put all their money in GIC。

有些朋友在筹备现金，打算年底/明年捡便宜，看他们运气咯。我还是觉得不靠谱，一般大趋势有新方向了，不可能几个月，一年就结束的，一般至少要几年吧。我也记得80年代末/90年代出，当时房子真心便宜，十万以下也可以买，虽然那时候最低薪水$5, 父母那时候也把钱都放入GIC，因为利息高。
