2020 season's finale will be held in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

At this time, we are still not sure whether Hamilton will pass physical to race.  If Hamilton can't make it, George Russel, last weekend's sensation in Bahrain, will sit in.

Of course, Bottas will be nervous.  Although GR's performance will not jeopardize Bottas' newly signed contract, it will tarnish his reputation, image, and ego :-( .

The "winner" right now is MB who is negotiating Hamilton's new contract, GR is a heaven sent card to play against Hamilton's demands.

GR will also give MB a chance to re-examine Bottas ability (I mentioned long ago, Bottas is not the "wing man" for Hamilton!).

Of course GR's "employer" -  Team Williams, was sold 2 months ago, may be new driver contracts need to be negotiated, GR now has a  much stronger voice.

Of course, if F-1 rules allow it and if MB can afford it, enter a 3-car team for 2021!

Hamilton was tested negative a few times and therefore will re-join the MB Team in Abu Dhabi for the last race of the season.

What a relief for Bottas!  He was used to be slower than Hamilton who is now a 7-time Champion, but beaten by GR who knows nothing about the MB car and was asked to stand in for Hamilton just a few days before the race, was a real pain/shame!

The 2020 Abu Dhabi F-1 GP's Qualifying Session has just concluded.

The starting pole will be:

Max, Bottas
Hamilton

For Max, this will be his first pole position in 2020 and it happened in the last race of the year!

The 2020 Abu Dhabi F-1 GP has just ended, it was an absolutely BORING RACE.  It ended the way it started:

Max, Bottas, then Hamilton.

Max drove a steady race.

Bottas was not impressive at all.  If I were MB manager, I would be prepared to pay the penalty and release him, then sign George Russel before another teams grabs him.

Hamilton, honestly hasn't recovered from his contraction of Convid-19.  Case in point, Sergio Perez contracted the virus, skipped two races before returning, and showed no negative effects.  Hamilton skipped only one race.  There must be some lingering effects from his contraction.

For 2021, Alex Albon has been dropped by Red Bull and replaced with Sergio Perez.

This is to be expected because AA did not perform that well in both 2019 & 2020 whereas SP performed quite well, especially in the final few races.

Incidentally SP was dropped by "Team Racing Point" BEFORE he performed better in the season and secured his first maiden F-1 win.

It was reported that Lewis Hamilton will be "knighted" as of 2021, which means he will be a "noble-man" and should be properly addressed as "Sir Lewis" as soon as he is knighted!

So, I will have to punch a few more keys when I write about 2021's F-1 GP races
