From my experience using some major agencies like MW BH ASB. They all use real pic and fake pic mixed. I think it's total depends on MM.
First, Some mms already get their photos taken and PSed to give it to the agency for an interview. So they are real pics with photoshop aid (those ones you can really tell they are real mm's photo once you meet them in real life and compare).
Secondly, there are some mms use some their own real photos but PS photos and completely someone else's photos mixed together and present. (these ones you can tell which one is real and which one is fake by looking at the background of the photo and the atmosphere of the studio where they got their picture taken. You should be able to recognize and distinguish between 2 different sets of pictures that are taken in 2 different places. and most likely less professional looking one (you gotta consider the PS quality which varies significantly between people, and also if the background looks too professional set up studio, then it has high chance that it was retracted from a magazine or some online photo archive.) is the one that is real.
Thirdly, there are just junk minded agency/private mm who don't know how to do business and just put up 100% fake photos straight up and hope to catch an innocent new wolf brothers.
This is a skill that I happened to develop solely on my personal experience. I was sick and tired of making an appointment expecting hot mm like the photos would show up, but in real, ugly fat aunt with nasty teeth.
So I don't trust photos much but then photos are the only method you can kinda reference the mms to, so I had to develop a skill where i can filter out some fake ones and pick out mms with advertising with somewhat real photos. I started to see those ones, and I could find myself getting better at it.
But then, photos are real, that doesn't mean she is a good mm. She can put her real photo as much as she can, and she can be the most thunderous mm you have ever seen.
