BJ swept the Rangers in extra inning by a score of 7 - 6.

BJ became the first team to qualify for Division Final and first time in Team history to sweep opponents in post season games.

The advantage for being the first team to qualify is that it will give time for players to heal their wounds.

The disadvantage is that players idling for 10+/- days might get "rusty".

BJ's possible opponent will be Cleveland Indians.  If BJ play their usual a game, should be able to beat Cleveland, possibly 4 games to 2 in a best 4 of 7 series.

BJ should be world champ last year but various reasons, e.g. a mid-reliever cannot play in the final games due to family issue, which prevented them from reaching that goal.

2016's team is even more balanced/talented than 2015, particularly in pitching.  This is the "get it or forget it" year because a lot of players will become free agents after the Championship series which means big $ must be spent to retain them.

Boston Vs Cleveland's game has been postponed due to rain, otherwise we will know which team might meet BJ for AL Championship.

AL has always been better than NL.   Whichever team that wins the AL definitely has a better chance of beating the NL counterparts.

I only watch games on TV, only a couple of times at Rogers Centre, honestly cannot afford the time and at least $200/person for each game.

Timewise, not sure.
But cheaper than a visit to MM.

Nobody expected Boston to lose to Cleveland in 3 games straight, so BJ will meet the Indians for the ALCS.

Both teams will be fully rested - roughly 10+ days as other teams in NL are still slugging it out.

Chances certainly look good for BJ in 2016!

Can we make sure that no BJ players are getting too much BJ or ML during those 10 days?

Just like some Olympic team members used up their energy before competition and lose.

BJ's first game agsinst the Indians is today at 2000 hours.  The winner is based on best of 7 games.  My guess is 4 -2 in favour of BJ.  A renowned sportscaster's called it 4 - 1, also in favour of BJ .

We will see.

BJ has the best offensive line up. I worry about the mid-reliever (Benour so something, who was injured in a ground clearing brawl and cannot play) and the closer who is young and still inconsistent.

Baseball game can last 3 hours, including all the spitting and scratching the groin.  So the MMs will have fewer customers than usual and can give you a real BJ!!
