$700 million for 10 years is absolutely insane to play for the Dodgers.  What do the other wolves think?  Did the Blue Jays ever have a chance?

He could buy the Arizona Coyotes for that Salary and still have money left over.

Sucks our media coverage is from Rogers who owns the team.  The way they were talking I was almost certain he was coming to Canada.   But sounds like they never had a chance. $700 million vs $500 million, there is not even an argument.

It would have meant so many Japnese visiting the country to see a star at the height of his game.

Hard to beat no Salary Cap.

In one interview it also sounds like he felt the Jays were ok with losing, where the dodgers wanted more championships.
