We must have missed something!  I thought the Sprint Race results will decide the starting grid of the Main Event, in fact, it had nothing to do with it!

There was a short practice, then there were Qualifying Sessions for the Main Event.   Hamilton did not even make it through Q1 through his own mistake.  Here are Highlights of the Q Session:

RB qualified 1 - 2, followed by all the other "also-runs".  Anyway, there will a repeat of all the previous races.

One driver to watch out for is Piastri who drove on the Shanghai track for the first time & he qualified 5th.  Just 2-3 weeks ago, I mentioned that since Hamilton will join Ferrari in 2015, MB should see if it can grab Piastri, instead of the other prospects.

Hamilton played around with his set up and it got worse.

Good sprint race and qualifying.

Looking forward to the race. The track appears to have low grip and you can see the cars drifting in some corners.

I did not watch the actual race (2024's Chinese F-1 Event) as the result was already a given if nothing is done about Max's suspicious dominance.
