It all depends on the size of your family and age.
If only you & wife, anything is OK. If you have kids, say 2, & both under 15, passenger van is still OK.
If you have 3 children, & grown ups, then use a passenger van or SUV with 3 rows of seats.
Even for daily drives, Toyota Sienna is a good choice for both small or even all grown ups family. Sienna's has a seating capacity for a minimum of 7. The car is VERY reliable. Mind you, passenger vans are NOT that much longer than full size SUVs, can definitely for in-town driving. The beauty of using passenger vans for self-drive travel for a family of 4, is that, anyone can use the 2nd & 3rd rows for sleeping.
Based on personal experience, 20 years ago, I took my family of 4 for annual travel within Canada, I used Toyota vans (Sienna & GPS were not "born" yet! ). |
